Calvana play a style of black metal that puts forth raw power and maintains the genre's standard "frozen" feel, but Calvana manage to sound powerful and vicious as well. A perfect description of the music on "III┼" would be ice and fire. The music sounds cold but there's a passion and a brutality here too that just screams fire.
